the Westboro Baptist Church launched a new campaign based off of the NO H8 campaign, except changed to “GOD H8S FAGS” and “FAG ENABLERS” (aka straight supporters). Not only is this disgusting in itself, they used children for one of their photos for the cause. 

1. Who uses kids like this?

2. God doesn’t hate. Not anyone, gay, straight, or otherwise.

3. NOH8 is a really great campaign, I hate to see it perverted like this

God doesn’t hate anyone. If I weren’t feeling lazy after my last rant, I’d break out the bible quotes I have to prove it but… Hey, just read the gospels. Every other word out of Jesus’s mouth is telling us to love.

1 Peter 4:8 is one of my favorites. God is above hate, and even though we as humans aren’t, we should try to be. Loving each other is the most important thing we can do, and if you can’t manage that at least respect each other. 

John 15:12 (New International Version)
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus say a hateful thing. Nowhere. He loved everyone He spoke with—even (especially!) people who society cast aside, ridiculed, and had given up on. His last command reminds us of this.

…it seems to me people in campaigns like this are awfully big for their britches, deciding for God who He does or doesn’t “h8”.
Myself…I’m going to rely on His love.
